Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead planning, management, and execution of a portfolio of data center facility construction projects. You will oversee scope, schedule, cost, quality, communications, resources, procurement, and risk to optimize client service and financial performance.

Responsibilities include defining project scope, developing schedules and budgets, coordinating with clients and project teams, and driving risk management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of increasing experience in heavy commercial and industrial construction with at least 5 years in project management.
• Firm understanding of financial management.
• Proven success in managing large multi-discipline programs, multi-office projects, or multiple projects.
• Thorough understanding of data center construction types.
• Strong skills in relationship development and management.

Responsibilities

• Leads planning and execution of data center facility construction projects and large industrial/commercial construction projects.
• Reviews project scope, defines procedures, and develops schedules, budgets, staffing, vendor lists and progress billing.
• Meets with client management to resolve issues and obtain approvals at project completion.
• Plans, organizes, communicates and coordinates project engagements.
• Manages day-to-day activities of project engagements including clients and project teams.
• Achieves project objectives regarding quality, scope, budgets and schedules.
• Analyzes project performance and resource utilization.
• Identifies potential out-of-scope work and manages contract changes.
• Identifies and manages project risk from proposal through duration of project.
• Trains, mentors, and oversees other Project Managers and participates in portfolio/project reviews.
