Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Project Manager in our Program Management department to plan, manage, and execute a portfolio of data center facility construction projects, overseeing scope, schedule, cost, quality, communications, resources, procurement, and risk.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in heavy commercial/industrial construction, and the ability to travel to Texas project sites as needed. Qualus offers competitive benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in heavy commercial/industrial construction; at least 3 years in project management.
• Firm understanding of financial management.
• Experience managing multi-discipline programs, multi-office projects, and/or multiple projects.
• Understanding of data center construction projects.
• Strong relationship development and management skills.
• Must be able to work in Texas and visit project site as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic project management leadership for data center facility construction projects and large industrial/commercial projects.
• Lead projects through all internal and external processes and the project lifecycle.
• Manage overall project scope, schedule, and cost.
• Accountable for key project decision-making.
• Manage a collaborative project team to meet planned scope, schedule, and cost.
• Lead project meetings and drive coaching, conflict resolution, facilitation, motivation, and negotiation.
• Develop, update, and manage the project plan across the lifecycle.
• Coordinate communication and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Assess risk and proactively develop mitigation plans.
• Handle information requests and action items.
• Ensure resources are available to support the project.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders.
