Qualus is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead planning, management, and execution of a portfolio of data center facility construction projects. You will oversee scope, schedule, cost, quality, communications, resources, procurement, and risk to optimize client service and financial performance.

Responsibilities include defining project scope, developing schedules and budgets, coordinating with clients and project teams, and driving risk management.

• Trains, mentors, and oversees other Project Managers and participates in portfolio/project reviews.

Position Overview

Power your future with Qualus as a Senior Project Manager in our Program Management organization. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide planning, management, and overall execution of a portfolio of data center facility construction projects. This includes managing all activities related to project scope, schedule, cost/budget, quality, communications, resources, procurement, and risk elements to optimize client service, quality and financial performance on large, complex and challenging projects.

Responsibilities

Leads the planning and execution of data center facility construction projects, and large industrial and commercial construction projects.

Reviews assigned project(s) after award to define project scope, determine work procedures/sequences and develops schedules, budgets, staffing, vendor lists and progress billing points.

Meets with client management as necessary during the term of a project to resolve issues and to obtain approvals at the project’s completion.

Plans, organizes, communicates and coordinates project engagements.

Manages the day-to-day activities of project engagements including Clients and Project Teams.

Achieve project objectives including quality/scopes, budgets, and schedules.

Analyzes project performance and resource utilization.

Identifies potential out of scope work.

Manages, and negotiates contract change orders.

Identifies and manages project risk from the proposal phase through the duration of the project.

Trains, mentors, and oversees other Project Managers and conducts/participates in portfolio and project reviews.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of increasing experience in heavy Commerical and Industrial Construction Industry with a minimum of 5 years in Project Management.

Firm understanding of financial management.

Demonstrated capabilities and success in managing large multi-discipline programs, projects, multi-office projects, and/or multiple projects.

Thorough understanding of various types of data center construction projects.

Strong skills in relationship development and management.

Must be able to work in Texas and visit project site as needed.
