Tighe & Bond, a leading civil/environmental engineering firm, is seeking a Senior Project Manager with dam and ecological restoration expertise. You will lead technical teams, manage complex client relationships, and navigate regulatory requirements in New England and New York.

Responsibilities include project lifecycle oversight, budgeting, and risk management, with opportunities to expand the firm’s presence through business development and proposal leadership.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related field) and PE licensure.
• Proven experience in consulting engineering for dams, river restoration, or water resources with increasing responsibility.
• familiarity with New England and New York regulations, permitting, and funding for dam projects.
• Demonstrated success in project management: leading teams, budgets, schedules, and client coordination.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Leadership focus: team building, mentoring, and staff development.
• Preferred: Master’s degree; business development, proposals, and strategic planning experience.
• Preferred: familiarity with alternative project delivery methods (design-build, progressive design-build, CM at risk).

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with a team to design and conduct technical work.
• Lead and manage projects, ensuring budgets, schedules, and regulatory requirements are met.
• Serve as primary client contact and manage client relationships.
• Support business development, including responding to RFPs and developing proposals.
• Provide technical leadership and oversee project lifecycle from inception to completion.
• Mentor project managers and junior staff; foster staff development.
• Identify and pursue new project opportunities with clients and industry groups.
• Represent the firm through industry participation and conference activities.
