Job summary

Tighe & Bond is seeking a Waterfront Group Leader to steer the Waterfront and Coastal Team from our New England offices, delivering multi-disciplinary coastal projects across the Northeast and beyond.

You will set strategy, build client relationships, mentor engineers, and ensure project success from planning through construction, with a focus on resilience, climate adaptation, and nature-based solutions.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil, Coastal, or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years in waterfront/coastal/marine engineering with leadership.
• Proven success in climate resilience and nature-based coastal solutions.
• Strong business development and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for Waterfront and Coastal practice, growth priorities, markets.
• Build relationships with public/private clients and regulators to win work.
• Guide staffing and resource planning for opportunities.
• Mentor engineering talent and foster a collaborative culture.
• Lead advisement on complex waterfront projects from planning to construction.
• Oversee project performance including scopes, budgets, schedules, risks, quality, client communication.
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
