Job summary

Tighe & Bond, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead dam and levee projects from our Worcester, MA, Westfield, MA, or Westwood, MA offices.

You will guide technical delivery, client relations, and project execution while mentoring staff in a collaborative, hybrid environment. You will work with the Dams Team on regulatory compliance, budgets, schedules, and business development to expand the firm’s dam/restoration portfolio, delivering solutions that protect communities and promote

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer licensure.
• Experience in dams, river restoration, or water resources engineering with increasing responsibility.
• Familiarity with New England and New York regulations, permitting, and funding related to dam processes.
• Proven project management experience including leading teams, budgets, schedules, and client coordination.
• Strong written and verbal communication and leadership abilities.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of experts to design and conduct technical work and address complex engineering challenges.
• Serve as primary client contact, manage relationships with private, state, and local government clients to promote successful project outcomes.
• Lead business development, including responding to RFPs, developing proposals, presentations, and shaping project approaches, scopes, and fees with risk management.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, adhering to budgets, schedules, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical leadership, conduct quality control reviews, and mentor project managers and junior staff.
• Contribute to strategic growth of the Dams Team by pursuing new opportunities with clients to expand the firm’s dam and ecological restoration presence.
• Engage in industry organizations, represent the firm through committees, conferences, and publications.
