Job summary

NexTech Professional Services seeks a Senior Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence. You will direct schedules, cost control, and quality, while coordinating with architects, engineers, and consultants.

You will also manage subcontractor payments, change orders, and reporting, acting as the main liaison for owners and guiding a team including superintendents.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Construction Engineering preferred or a BS in Engineering with relevant experience.
• 3-5 years project manager experience preferred.
• Experience with estimating and conceptual estimating.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with potential clients.
• Proficient in construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, and Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, on time and within budget.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and quality control measures.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve technical issues.
• Process and manage subcontractor payments, change orders, and monthly cost reporting.
• Serve as primary point of contact for project owners, leading meetings and updates.
• Supervise and mentor project team members, including superintendents and subcontractors.
• Review construction documents and specifications for safety compliance.
• Manage project documentation, permits, inspections, and closeout activities.
