Blue Signal Search seeks a Senior Project Manager to own complex commercial construction projects from early planning through turnover. You will lead diverse teams, manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships, and drive procurement and documentation across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years progressive project management experience in commercial construction.
  • Strong knowledge of estimating, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, contract administration, and change management.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate with clients, designers, subcontractors, field leaders, and executives.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related discipline preferred.
  • Working understanding of construction standards, building requirements, safety practices, and effective project documentation.
  • Proficient with construction management, scheduling, document control, and productivity tools.
  • Operate effectively in a fast-moving, on-site project environment with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Own the project from early planning through final handoff, keeping cost, schedule, quality, and client commitments aligned.
  • Translate project scope into budgets, forecasts, cost controls, and financial reporting for leadership visibility.
  • Build schedules around field sequencing, long-lead purchasing, milestones, and recovery actions.
  • Coordinate owners, design partners, trade contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to move decisions quickly.
  • Guide contract and subcontract administration, including procurement commitments, change events, and documentation.
  • Identify scope gaps, constructability concerns, schedule exposure, and cost risks early, then organize the right people around solutions.
  • Work with field leadership to support safe execution, quality, production planning, and accountability on site.
  • Run project reviews and decision forums with concise updates on progress, financials, risks, and issues requiring escalation.
  • Develop project engineers and emerging leaders by setting expectations and delegating ownership.
  • Drive closeout through punch completion, record documentation, warranties, training coordination, turnover packages, and final acceptance.

Skill Set

  • Apply strong working knowledge of estimating, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, contract administration, and change management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams with credibility and communicate clearly with clients, designers, subcontractors, field leaders, and executives.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred, with relevant professional experience also considered.
  • Working understanding of construction standards, building requirements, safety practices, and effective project documentation.
  • Use construction management, scheduling, document control, and productivity tools confidently to organize information and support timely decisions.
  • Operate effectively in a fast moving, on site project environment where priorities can change and disciplined follow through matters.
