Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead our Cold Storage division in the Chicagoland area. This permanent role oversees large-scale projects from conception to completion, with a focus on ground-up food processing and cold storage facilities.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in construction, a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, and proven leadership to coordinate engineers, architects and field teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction experience, including large-scale projects in food processing or cold storage.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong leadership, communication and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with project management software tools.
• PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle from initiation to completion.
• Manage planning, design, and construction of cold storage facilities.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and construction professionals.
• Ensure projects are on time, on budget, and meet quality standards.
• Develop project scopes and objectives with stakeholders.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Manage client, stakeholder and supplier relationships.
• Ensure compliance with safety and building regulations.
• Identify and mitigate risks or obstacles.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on progress.
