Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC. is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead and manage complex environmental investigation, remediation, and compliance projects involving chlorinated solvents.

You will provide technical leadership, manage client relationships, and drive project delivery from proposal through closure. The role requires extensive experience with site investigations, groundwater characterization, RI/FS, regulatory programs, and remediation technologies.

Qualifications

• BS in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Hydrogeology, Geology, or related field.
• 12+ years of environmental consulting experience.
• 7+ years managing complex remediation projects.
• Significant chlorinated solvent investigation and remediation experience.
• California PE, PG, CHG, PMP, REM, CHMM (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale environmental remediation projects from proposal through closure.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and health and safety plans.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of geologists, engineers, hydrogeologists, risk assessors, and environmental scientists.
• Monitor project financial performance, including revenue, profitability, utilization, and forecasting.
• Coordinate subcontractors, laboratories, drilling contractors, and remediation vendors.
• Maintain quality assurance and quality control standards.
• Serve as a technical lead for sites impacted by chlorinated solvents and oversee RI/FS and corrective action programs.
• Evaluate and implement remediation technologies such as ISCR, ISCO, ERD, thermal remediation, SVE, DPE, air sparging, MNA.
• Act as primary client contact for key accounts and support strategic planning with industrial, aerospace, petroleum, manufacturing, and government clients.
• Lead proposal preparation and pricing; identify new clients and expand existing accounts.
