Apex Companies, a leading environmental consulting and engineering firm in Thousand Oaks, CA, seeks a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead complex environmental investigations, remediation, and compliance programs. You will guide cross-disciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and drive delivery from proposal to project closure.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in environmental consulting, 7+ years in remediation leadership, and holds credentials such as California PE/PG or PMP.

Qualifications

• BS in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Hydrogeology, Geology, or related field.
• 12+ years of environmental consulting experience.
• 7+ years managing complex remediation projects.
• Significant chlorinated solvent investigation and remediation experience.
• California PE, PG, CHG, PMP, REM, CHMM (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale environmental remediation projects from proposal through closure.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and health and safety plans.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of geologists, engineers, hydrogeologists, risk assessors, and environmental scientists.
• Monitor project financial performance, including revenue, profitability, utilization, and forecasting.
• Coordinate subcontractors, laboratories, drilling contractors, and remediation vendors.
