Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead and manage complex environmental investigation, remediation, and compliance programs across soil, groundwater, sediment, soil vapor, and indoor air. You will guide project teams, manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships to deliver safe, compliant solutions.

You’ll oversee technical leadership for sites with chlorinated solvents, coordinate with geologists, engineers, and risk assessors, and help win new work through

Qualifications

• BS in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Hydrogeology, Geology, or related field.
• 12+ years of environmental consulting experience.
• 7+ years managing complex remediation projects.
• Significant chlorinated solvent investigation and remediation experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale environmental remediation projects from proposal through closure.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of geologists, engineers, hydrogeologists, risk assessors, and environmental scientists.
• Monitor project financial performance, including revenue, profitability, utilization, and forecasting.
• Coordinate subcontractors, laboratories, drilling contractors, and remediation vendors.
• Maintain quality assurance and quality control standards.
