Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our Texas team. You will plan, schedule, organize and direct complex projects, coordinating with engineering, field installation and start-up to ensure on-time delivery and favorable cash flow.

Strong leadership, coaching and IT aptitude are required, with 7–10 years in engineering, field service or project management and proficiency in MS Office products. Convergint values diversity and equal opportunity.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical projects (building automation, fire/life safety, electronic security).
• Strong coaching, mentoring and staff development skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and project management software; able to troubleshoot problems.
• Understanding of IT networking principles and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, organize and direct projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate engineering, field installation and start-up activities.
• Ensure projects meet budgeted costs and schedules; optimize cash flow.
• Act as main customer interface to maximize satisfaction and quality.
