Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Project Manager to lead customer-facing projects in Austin, TX, ensuring delivery within budget and schedule while maintaining quality and safety.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project scope from award to completion, and translate client needs into actionable plans, while upholding Convergint’s values and commitment to exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years project management experience in technical environments (building automation, fire/life safety, electronic security).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset with customer-facing experience.
• Leadership orientation with mentoring and team development skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, oversee, and coordinate project activities from award through completion.
• Translate customer requirements into detailed proposals and project plans.
• Effectively communicate project needs to the team and maintain accurate project records.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and services to meet schedule and budget.
• Establish milestones, analyze costs, and ensure quality and safety standards.
