Qualifications

• PMP Certification is required.
• 7+ years of enterprise-level project management experience.
• Experience leading 1099 reporting, tax reporting, and regulatory reporting initiatives.
• Experience in Insurance/Financial Services/Brokerage or similar industries with large independent payee populations.
• Strong communication, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end PM for 1099 reporting, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting initiatives.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Tax, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Technology, and Compliance.
• Drive requirements gathering, process improvement, testing, implementation, and change management.
• Ensure reporting programs align with IRS regulations and organizational compliance requirements.
• Oversee vendor and third-party relationships supporting tax reporting platforms or compliance programs.
