Job summary

dfwHR is seeking an experienced Reporting Program Manager on a 1099 contract to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of an enterprise-wide annual 1099 reporting program in Dallas. You will coordinate across finance, technology, tax, operations, and external vendors, manage governance, timelines, risks, and filing readiness to ensure accurate and timely filings.

This four-month engagement requires a highly organized project leader with strong communication and stakeholder management

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or equivalent professional experience in business/finance/IT/project management.
• 7+ years leading complex cross-functional, technology-enabled initiatives.
• Proven success coordinating enterprise-wide projects with multiple stakeholders and vendors.
• Strong knowledge of governance, risk, issue resolution, and change control.
• Experience developing integrated project plans and executive reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of the annual 1099 reporting program.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities across finance, tech, tax, operations, and vendors.
• Establish governance, communication protocols, escalation paths, and reporting standards.
• Facilitate meetings, reviews, and stakeholder discussions for alignment and accountability.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, decisions, dependencies, and actions.
• Communicate requirements, deadlines, and deliverables to business units.
• Coordinate testing cycles, vendor file exchanges, and filing-readiness reviews.
• Drive data-quality improvements and process enhancements.
• Prepare executive status reports and filing-readiness summaries.
