Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead tenant improvement and facilities construction for client accounts. You will manage design, development, and construction while coordinating with clients, facility teams, general contractors, and client vendors, and monitoring budgets and schedules.

You will create work plans, run meetings, and report progress to the Team Lead and client, resolving issues with strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of directly related project management and/or construction experience.
• Hands-on experience with tenant improvement construction projects.
• Ability to read and understand construction specifications (and construction drawings preferred).
• Proven leadership, administrative ability, technical background, and project responsibility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage design, development, and construction of projects for a client account.
• Interact with clients, facility management, transactions, occupancy planning, general contractors, and client vendors.
• Contract, coordinate, and monitor services relating to master contractor agreements for tenant improvement and facilities projects.
• Provide detailed progress reports to the Team Lead, Client, and building/facility management team.
• Identify and resolve issues; strong problem-solving skills required.
• Schedule and lead project meetings; prepare agendas; develop and maintain master budgets and timelines.
• Create and execute project work plans and revise them as needed to meet changing requirements.

Job description

• Responsible for following established processes and procedures for managing the design, development, and construction of projects for a client account.
• Interacts with multiple stakeholder teams such as clients, facility management, transactions, occupancy planning, general contractors, and client vendors.
• Contracts, coordinates, and monitors various services relating to master contractor agreements for tenant improvement and facilities projects.
• Works closely with and provides detailed progress reports to the Team Lead and Client, in addition to the building/facility management team.
• Identify and resolve issues; must be good at problem-solving.
• Schedule and lead project meetings, prepare agendas, develop and maintain master project budgets and timelines.
• Create and execute project work plans and revise them as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

Requirements

• B.S Degree in related fields of Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering preferred.
• Requires seven (7) to ten (10) years of directly related project management and/or construction experience.
• Hands-on experience with tenant improvement construction projects.
• Ability to read and understand construction specifications (and construction drawings preferred).
• Proven leadership ability, administrative ability, technical background, and project responsibility experience preferred.
• Highly organized and skilled with time management.
• Willing/able to travel up to 35% of the time.
