Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex commercial real estate initiatives from planning through occupancy in Arizona. You will manage budgets, schedules, and multi-contractor coordination, while collaborating with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure path to project success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, etc.)
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in the commercial real estate industry
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion
  • Demonstrated experience managing external design consultants and coordinating multi-contractor environments
  • Ability to review and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of project implementation and execution, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and construction through completion and occupancy.
  • Manage complex projects from conception to delivery, potentially including ground-up construction with pre-construction duties.
  • Provide appropriate on-site supervision to ensure project performance criteria are being met.
  • Establish and manage comprehensive project budgets covering both hard and soft costs.
  • Maintain monthly forecasts and cash flow analysis, prepare anticipated cost reports, and provide construction cost/benefit analysis.
  • Collaborate extensively with architects, engineers, client staff, property managers, vendors, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Lead technical coordination across all design disciplines, reviewing architectural and engineering drawings for accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage contractor relationships and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
