Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead one large construction project or multiple initiatives in the Monroe, LA area. You will oversee schedule, budget, safety, and quality while maintaining strong client relationships and coordinating with owners and on-site teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in construction-related fields, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel up to 100%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• Current driver’s license.
• Ability to travel up to 100%.
• Ten years of construction management or related experience with large projects ($20M+).
• Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership direction to one large project or multiple projects.
• Manage project quality, timeliness, safety, and the project team.
• Develop and improve customer relationships through excellent service.
• Supervise overall financial health and maintain project financial and equipment projections.
• Allocate project estimates into the financial system and determine cost codes.
• Approve invoices and provide financials and billings to Accounting.
• Create monthly owner billings.
• Handle subcontracts and suppliers, manage budgets and selections.
• Lead Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, including assignments, training, and career development.
• Serve as the main point of contact with the owner and on-site representative.
• Resolve site concerns, handle change orders, and obtain customer/architect approvals.
• Maintain schedule and budget, and manage quality, risk, safety, and compliance.
