The position involves reinforcing safety, quality, and scheduling programs, ensuring contract documents are understood, and leading project planning and coordination with clients, architects, and the project team.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce and assist with safety, quality, and schedule/production management programs; lead project planning and customer service initiatives; ensure collaborative relationships.
• Oversee and ensure understanding of project contract documents (IFC drawings, specs, submittals) by the entire project team.
• Ensure efficient subcontract and purchase order processes; identify and resolve risks; promptly address RFIs and RFCOs.
• Develop and lead 3-week schedules; manage project controls for subcontracted work, vendor materials, equipment, and third-party activities; coordinate meetings.
• Ensure costs stay within client budgets; manage cost reporting, change orders, and cash flow; document all change events.
• Utilize technology tools to improve reliability, efficiency, and project performance; promote best practices.
• Lead daily goal setting and accountability with subcontractors and vendors; align resources and drive performance.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Reinforce and assist with the CF Evans Construction corporate safety, quality, and schedule/production management programs, and lead, implement, and enforce project planning and customer service programs, ensuring cooperative and collaborative partner relationships.
• Oversee, review and ensure entire project team has a thorough understanding of project-specific contract documents (esp. IFC drawings, specifications, submittals, etc.) for the work of the project.
• Ensure bidding, award, preparation, and execution of subcontracts and purchase orders are administered as efficiently as possible; proactively identify and isolate matters of risk and solve problems expediently; resolve RFIs and RFCOs promptly.
• Develop, implement, and lead contract and 3‑week schedules; project controls for subcontract trade work, vendor‑supplied materials, equipment, services, and third‑party activities, including pre‑planning, monitoring, and inspection; bi‑weekly owner/architect meetings; weekly and daily coordination meetings; contingency plans; client, architect, and project communications.
• Ensure all construction costs remain within client’s budget, including cost estimating, cost reporting, cost breakouts, pay requests, cash flow analysis, change orders, and monthly project financials; account for costs attributed to all change events, non‑conformance, delays and rework; ensure required documentation for all change events.
• Proficiently utilize and leverage technology tools and solutions to ensure consistent and reliable results, gain efficiencies, and improve project team performance; lead best practices.
• Reinforce and ensure daily goal setting and accountability with subcontractor and vendor partnerships by setting direction, aligning resources, and motivating and inspiring; lead best practices.
