Job summary

CF Evans Construction is seeking a qualified Preconstruction Manager to lead activities for multiple negotiated multifamily projects during the preconstruction phase. You will coordinate estimates, scheduling, budgeting, and value analysis to support safe, high-quality delivery.

Responsibilities

• Enforce CF Evans safety, quality, and schedule programs, and lead project planning and customer service initiatives.
• Lead portions of estimates and understand project scope.
• Ensure management of client expectations established for preconstruction; build relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
• Support budgeting, estimating, scheduling, value analysis, and design management; provide Value Engineering options as needed.
• Coordinate pricing efforts with construction services teams and safety leadership for assemblies and logistics.
• Develop or enhance phasing and sequencing plans in consultation with Operations.

Description Of Position
The Preconstruction Manager will simultaneously lead activities associated with multiple prospective projects during the preconstruction phase of primarily negotiated multifamily construction projects.
Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure enforcement/ compliance of CF Evans Construction’s corporate safety, quality, and schedule / production management programs, as well as lead and direct project planning and customer service programs for projects. Foster and ensure cooperative and collaborative internal and external partner relationships.
• Lead and/or perform portions of estimates for projects, including understanding scope and performing accurate quantity surveys.
• Ensure proper management of the client’s expectations established for preconstruction efforts; Ability to build relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
• Demonstrate support of project teams throughout the preconstruction process including budgeting, estimating, scheduling, value analysis, and design management; Provide Value Engineering options as necessary.
• Coordinate pricing efforts with the construction services teams and Director of Safety for construction assemblies and logistics.
• Develop or further enhance phasing and sequencing plans, in consultation with Operations.
