Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex industrial projects from planning through completion, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and to customer expectations. You will direct Project Managers, PM Coordinators, Electrical Engineers, and other technical teammates, overseeing scope, schedules, resources, and risks.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in progressive PM roles within industrial environments, with a 4-year engineering-related degree (equivalent

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive project management experience within industrial environments.
  • Experience leading complex projects and directing project teams.
  • 4-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, risk management, and resource planning.
  • Knowledge of rotating equipment, pumps, and motors; municipal water/wastewater experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineered specifications, plans, and P&IDs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel, Teams, Project, and Planner.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from planning through completion, managing scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and deliverables.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers, coordinators, engineers and other team members.
  • Oversee workload, priorities, and resource allocation to support project execution.
  • Monitor financial performance, schedules and milestones, addressing risks and variances.
  • Serve as escalation point for customer concerns and project challenges.
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, sales, procurement, customers and vendors.
  • Establish and reinforce PM processes, quality standards and documentation.
  • Provide leadership with updates on performance, capacity, risks and priorities.
  • Lead project closeout and identify lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Job description

What You'll Do
