Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies in St. Louis, MO is seeking a hands-on Service Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will supervise shop and field technicians, develop labor estimates, and ensure work aligns with our Quality Management System.

You’ll manage monthly service and repair revenue targets, coordinate scheduling, and perform GEMBA walks with safety coordination. Strong leadership and 5+ years of industrial experience are required, with proficiency in MS Project, Excel,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an industrial setting and leading a team.
• Proficient with MS Project, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Fundamental understanding of rotating equipment, fabrication, equipment rigging, and machine shop practices.
• Measuring devices used with accuracy to 0.0001 inches.
• Welding procedures knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Supervision of shop and field service technicians.
• Scope development and labor estimates for service work.
• Execution of service work in accordance with OTC's Quality Management System. This includes accurate documentation of the work performed.
• Performing warranty evaluations.
• Understanding of project planning and production scheduling.
• Managing monthly targets for both service & repair revenue and gross margin.
• Perform GEMBA walks, manage all onsite safety in coordination with safety team.

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an industrial setting and leading team.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Project, Excel, Outlook and Word).
• Fundamental understanding of rotating equipment, fabrication, equipment rigging, and machine shop practices. Knowledge of the use and maintenance of shop and field service equipment and tools.
• Competent in using measuring devices with accuracy to 0.0001 inches.
• Basic knowledge of welding procedures, preferred.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
