Job summary

Professional Employment Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex software implementations for enterprise clients in utilities and telecom. You’ll own projects end-to-end—from solution architecture support through go-live—coordinating cross-functional technical and business teams and serving as the primary client relationship owner.

You’ll manage schedules, budgets, risk, and change control across multiple workstreams, while identifying opportunities to expand

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional services project management experience.
• Consulting or professional services background preferred.
• Client-facing PM experience is a must.
• Experience mentoring or leading other PMs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of software implementation projects involving system integrations and IT strategy.
• Own the full project lifecycle: estimation, solution architecture support, requirements gathering, testing, risk management, and change control.
• Serve as the central liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams across multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and team performance, with regular internal reporting.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships — managing scope, expectations, and priorities proactively.
• Identify and mitigate project risks before they become client-facing issues.
• Support SOW development, resource planning, and client presentations.
• Identify opportunities to expand client accounts (light business development component).

The Opportunity

Our client is hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead delivery of complex software implementation projects for enterprise clients in the utility and telecom space. You'll own projects end-to-end — from solution architecture support through go-live — managing cross-functional technical and business teams while serving as the primary client relationship owner.

What You'll Do

• Lead delivery of software implementation projects involving system integrations, data management, and IT strategy
