Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple commercial construction projects in Detroit from preconstruction through closeout. You will oversee budgets, schedules, subcontract administration, and client relationships to deliver high-profile builds on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in commercial construction, a related degree, and a track record delivering $15M+ projects, with strong leadership and CM software skills.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
  • Proven experience managing projects valued at $15M+.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and contract administration skills.
  • Experience leading cross-functional project teams and managing client relationships.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Track record of successfully delivering ground-up and/or major renovation commercial projects.

Job Details

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, financial performance, and successful delivery of commercial construction projects. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and project teams while providing leadership from preconstruction through closeout.
