Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Project Leader to drive successful delivery of complex projects in its Critical Infrastructure Solutions unit. You will supervise PMs, manage budgets and resources, and coordinate MEP installations across multifaceted facilities.

Qualifications

• Strong project management experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience interfacing with engineering firms, clients, and general contractors.
• Proven track record managing multi-discipline systems (Fire Alarm, Communications, Security, AV, Power, Instrumentation).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Report to Senior Project Managers in developing and managing schedules, budgets, and resources for projects.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders for efficient project execution.
• Oversee and manage MEP installations, including coordination and shop drawings.
• Gain hands-on experience with building processes, including fabrication, transportation, and installation.
• Lead project kickoff meetings and provide guidance to project teams.
• Conduct site surveys, cost studies, and budget forecasting with financial accuracy.
• Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures, quality improvements, and best practices implementation.
• Maintain regular communication with project teams and provide progress updates.
• Build and nurture relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Manage on-site preconstruction during RFQ with estimates using Accubid and P6.
• Ensure timely completion of punch-list items, as-built drawings, and training material accessibility.
• Manage permitting, licensing, and inspections to meet timelines.
• Understand MEP supplier market and lead on-site procurement.
