Job summary

M.C. Dean is Building Intelligence, delivering cyber-physical solutions for critical facilities and complex infrastructure from its Tysons, Virginia headquarters. The company seeks an experienced engineer to plan and manage projects, control budgets, and coordinate with design, procurement, and field teams.

Responsibilities include risk management, change order handling, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation to ensure safety, compliance, and on-time delivery across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (ABET accredited) required.
• Master of Science in Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Planning and maintaining project budget and schedule.
• Planning and maintaining manpower forecasts in relation to budget and schedule.
• Planning and monitoring cash flow against cash expenses.
• Establishing labor and productivity rates.
• Identifying value added solutions and cost saving methods.
• Pricing, tracking and managing change orders.
• Identifying change orders and ensuring effective resolution.
• Maintaining as-builts as work is completed.
• Documenting project issues/conditions.
• Maintaining organized and detailed project records.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Engineering (ABET accredited)

Master of Science in Engineering

Professional Engineer License (preferred)
