Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior Project Manager to deliver large-scale data center infrastructure across North America. You will lead cross-functional teams spanning engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, testing, and field execution to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with rigorous safety and quality standards.

You will manage contracts, forecasts, and risk, while coordinating with customers and EPC partners to achieve successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Requires work authorization to work in the United States.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, PM, Business, or related field with 10+ years in Engineering and PM; or Technical Degree with 15+ years in Engineering and PM.
• 10+ years PM experience in power systems, grid automation, data centers, utilities, EPC, or industrial infra.
• Experience delivering projects valued at $15M+.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams >30 resources.
• Customer-facing PM roles with executive-level communication.
• Knowledge of SAS/SCADA, P&C, data center electrical infra, and cybersecurity.
• PMP certification preferred; MBA or Master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver large-scale data center infrastructure projects from award to acceptance.
• Set execution strategies, governance, comms plans, and stakeholder engagement.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, supply, manufacturing, testing, and field execution.
• Own project financial performance: forecasting, cash flow, revenue recognition, margin.
• Oversee contract administration, changes, claims, and negotiations.
• Develop and maintain schedules using Primavera P6 and drive critical path.
• Oversee FAT, SAT, commissioning, and energization milestones.
• Provide technical oversight of SCADA, SAS, and cyber/IEC standards.
• Manage risks, opportunities, and contingency strategies; report to senior stakeholders.
