Job summary

BW Papersystems is hiring a Project Management Leader to drive on-site execution of new equipment orders in our Phillips, WI facility. You will lead a high­-caliber PM team, ensuring scope, budget, and schedule adherence while coordinating with internal and external partners.

This role emphasizes playbooks, standard processes, and strong cross‑functional collaboration. Candidates should bring 8+ years in project management within manufacturing, plus a engineering degree and PMP training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of experience leading teams of Project Managers.
• Formal project management training or certification (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
• Experience in capital equipment or low volume, high mix, high customization businesses would be ideal but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the execution of new equipment orders.
• Guide a project management team and ensure budget and schedule adherence.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a standards playbook for all projects and management tools.
• Ensure disciplined adherence to project management playbooks and standards.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external OEMs; manage documentation and client communications.
• Travel approximately 20%.
