Job summary

BW Papersystems is seeking a highly motivated Project Management Leader to oversee the execution of new equipment orders at our Phillips, WI facility, on-site 5 days a week. The role drives project management discipline, budgeting, forecasting, and cross-functional coordination across engineering, installation, and start-up.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 8+ years as a Project Manager, and 5+ years leading PM teams, with PMP or similar training preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; B.S. in Engineering preferred.
• 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager in technical/manufacturing environments.
• 5+ years leading teams of Project Managers.
• Formal project management training or certification (e.g., PMP) preferred.
• Experience in capital equipment or low/ high mix, high customization businesses would be ideal.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, deliverables and schedule before execution.
• Lead the project management team to meet milestones, schedule, cost targets.
• Develop and maintain a standards playbook for all projects.
• Ensure adherence to project management playbooks and standards.
• Perform quality control to maintain defined standards.
• Align stakeholders across leadership, departments and customers.
• Make decisions to drive project progress and adjust schedules as needed.
• Coordinate with outside OEMs on scope, procurement and accountability.
• Maintain project documentation control and communication.
• Develop team members’ project management competencies.
