Job summary

Fluence is seeking a Project Engineering Manager in the United States to lead a team of engineers from bidding through commissioning on renewable energy and energy storage projects.

You will guide technical design, cost estimates, and execution while coordinating with Sales, Project Management, Procurement, and Construction to deliver compliant, high-quality solutions on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field; 5–7 years of engineering experience in renewable energy or storage.
• Experience leading engineering teams or large projects.
• Experience supporting engineering projects from conceptual design through commissioning.
• Proficiency with engineering design tools and knowledge of IEC, IEEE, ASME, NEC, UL.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop engineers to strengthen technical capabilities and team performance.
• Partner with Sales to evaluate requirements during bidding; develop preliminary designs and cost estimates.
• Oversee transition from bidding to detailed design, execution, and commissioning support.
• Ensure deliverables meet schedules, budgets, quality standards, and customer requirements.
• Identify risks and implement engineering quality control practices while maintaining documentation.
