Job summary

Fluence is seeking a Project Manager for the Battery Storage organization in the Americas. You will lead projects from planning through execution, coordinating with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing and installation teams, while ensuring customer satisfaction and project performance.

The role requires a BS/BA in engineering and 5+ years of PM experience with P&L responsibility, plus the ability to operate in a global, matrixed environment. PMP and Six Sigma are a plus; travel ~30%.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in engineering required.
• 5+ years of relevant project management experience.
• 5+ years PM with P&L responsibility.
• Demonstrated leadership, collaboration and influencing skills.
• Strong business acumen and decision making.
• Experience in a matrixed/global organization.
• PMP certification a plus.
• Six Sigma/LEAN experience a plus.
• Travel required: 30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management for battery storage projects with internal teams and customers.
• Provide planning leadership across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, installation and commissioning.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, sales and management to deliver full life cycle commitments.
• Document and communicate initial project plans and changes to the team.
• Drive project execution to satisfactory completion and financial performance.
• Transfer completed projects to Fluence services post-delivery.
