Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking an Affordable Housing Acquisitions Senior Project Leader in Dublin, OH to manage the full lifecycle of multifamily senior housing acquisitions. You will quarterback deals from site identification through closing and turnover to operations, coordinating with internal teams and external partners for timely completions.

The role requires 7+ years in multifamily/affordable housing, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant multifamily, affordable housing, real estate experience.
• Knowledge of affordable housing fundamentals and market dynamics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute a portfolio of affordable senior housing acquisitions from identification through closing and turnover.
• Coordinate with Acquisitions Analyst, Senior Director of Acquisitions, and external partners to move deals to closing.
• Review budgets, funding sources, and capital needs; analyze due diligence including market studies, appraisals, and environmental reports.
• Support legal review of title and property reports; obtain HUD, HFAs, and investor approvals as applicable.
• Manage project timelines, site visits, and transition assets to housing team; travel up to 30%.
