Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a Regional Portfolio Leader to manage a portfolio of affordable housing communities across Indiana and Ohio. The role focuses on coaching Property Managers, driving occupancy and NOI, improving operations, and ensuring high resident satisfaction.

You will lead multiple sites, oversee budgeting and performance reviews, and partner with internal teams to support capital projects while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of affordable housing or multifamily property management experience.
• Multi-site leadership experience.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing Property Managers.
• Experience managing budgets, occupancy, and property performance.
• Knowledge of HUD, LIHTC, Fair Housing, and affordable housing programs.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop high-performing teams of Property Managers and community teams.
• Partner with Property Managers to achieve occupancy and NOI goals.
• Review operational and financial results and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop action plans for underperforming communities.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews.
• Conduct regular site visits throughout the portfolio.
• Monitor maintenance standards, curb appeal, safety, and resident experience.
• Support capital projects and operational initiatives.
• Ensure properties operate in compliance with HUD, LIHTC, Fair Housing, and company requirements.
