Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a Regional Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of affordable communities across Indiana, SW Ohio, and Columbus, OH. You will lead on-site teams, drive performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance resident experiences.

In this role you will supervise Property Managers, manage budgets, monitor occupancy and REAC/MOR reviews, and collaborate with Asset Management to optimize rents and revenue opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree, two years of college coursework, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of five years of property management experience.
• At least two years of on-site property management experience.
• Previous supervisory or multi-site management experience preferred.
• Affordable housing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and supervise Property Managers and site-level personnel.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development.
• Foster accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and resident-focused service.
• Approve hiring, personnel status changes, and terminations for on-site staff.
• Ensure compliance with HUD, LIHTC, Fair Housing, and other regulations.
• Conduct property audits and reviews to adhere to standards.
• Monitor leasing activities, occupancy trends, waiting lists, and certifications.
• Resolve resident concerns and support corrective action plans.
• Oversee annual operating and capital budget preparation and reporting.
• Manage contracts, renewals, and vendor relationships.
• Travel up to 50% across assigned communities.
