Dewberry’s Gainesville, VA office seeks a Senior Project Manager/Assistant Branch Manager to support the Business Unit Manager in strategy, growth, and operational performance.

The candidate will be a Professional Engineer with a proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams, client development, and delivering complex projects, while ensuring quality and safety compliance across the Southern Virginia region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer License in Virginia.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a consulting engineer, including work with clients and projects in Prince William County.
• Strong relationships with decision makers in public agencies and private entities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Grow diverse architectural and engineering services through leadership and coordination of business-development efforts across all Dewberry services and market segments.
• Mobilize, energize, and organize cross-functional teams for success in winning and delivering complex projects.
• Act as a strategic thinker, bringing market-facing ideas, strategies, and expertise to decision-making and planning.
