Job summary

McCownGordon Construction is seeking an experienced Account and Client Executive to drive project success from award through completion. You will lead large, multi-project teams, manage profitability, and oversee preconstruction from start to finish.

The role requires a track record in project management, budget control, and strong client relations. You will mentor teams, oversee risk planning, and ensure safe, compliant project execution on-site with active leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 15+ years' experience.
• Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Project to manage all components of the project.
• Proficiency in computer applications, preferably Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated ability to take a leadership role on projects from start to finish.
• Proven track record of successful projects/project management.
• Proven track record of superior budget management and accurate monthly cost projections.
• Demonstrated ability to develop project schedules and manage from beginning to end.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage more than one project at a time.
• Proficient in running project-related meetings, including Progress, OAC, and pre-installation meetings.

Responsibilities

• Preconstruction, Project Set Up & Planning: set up projects for success and lead planning processes.
• Logistics, Self-Perform, & Building Performance Solutions: maximize profitability and ensure PFP targets.
• Safety: uphold safety protocols and review Hazardous Building Material surveys.
• Project Management and Controls: drive performance, budgets, QAQC, risk, and closeout.
• Relationships: build client and partner relationships and lead teams.
• Schedule Management: maintain schedules, control changes, and communicate milestones.
• Risk Management & Mitigation: develop contracts, assess risks, and resolve issues.
• Budget Management, PFF Strategy & Implementation: manage cash flow, forecasts, and project closes.
