Mortenson Construction is seeking an experienced Project Executive I to lead large-scale projects, oversee project teams, and strengthen customer relations from pre-construction through closeout. This role requires high professionalism and confidentiality in a dynamic environment.

Ideal candidate has a minimum of 10 years in construction, especially on higher education projects over $75 million, with proven ability to manage complex development to closeout and mentor teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management (or equivalent).
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience on high-education and large-scale projects ($75M+).
• Ability to manage development to closeout for multiple complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain successful customer and community relationships.
• Conduct key customer service visits from pre-construction to close-out.
• Preview proposals and participate in RFP processes.
• Act as primary customer contact for assigned projects.
• Support business development initiatives and maintain customer relationships.
• Provide oversight and accountability for large projects.
• Manage contract administration, including terms, change requests, and invoices.
• Maintain project budgets, costs, and pricing for profitability.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management for project team.
