KFI Engineers in Fargo, North Dakota, is seeking a Project Executive to lead Healthcare and Commercial projects, advising owners and guiding project delivery from concept to startup. You will engage with clients, manage multi-disciplinary teams, and deliver engineering excellence across facilities programs.

The role emphasizes business development, scope management, and strong communication with senior leaders. Travel up to 25% is expected; PE preferred and relocation is not specified.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10–15+ years of hands-on engineering and project management in design-bid-build, construction or engineering consulting.
• Strong engineering principles and standards knowledge.
• Superior PM skills in commercial/institutional environments.
• Construction experience or time on site.
• Experience leading infrastructure design/construction in higher education, K-12, municipal, hospital, life sciences, or pharma sectors.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for mentoring and development.
• Strong business acumen and credibility at senior levels.
• Experience with business development: proposals, scoping, contracts.
• Active participation in industry conferences and BD meetings.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
• PE certification preferred.
• Travel up to 25%.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as Project Executive on large projects or clients, supporting Project Managers.
• Lead business development: proposals, client meetings, scoping, and contract negotiations.
• Provide technical and engineering excellence with emphasis on project development and management.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction by aligning expectations and delivering on promises.
• Manage projects with KPI tracking and QA/QC contributions.
• Collaborate across teams and mentor staff to foster growth.
• Identify opportunities to diversify client and industry bases.
• Develop project scope, feasibility, and funding plans; support on-site investigations.
• Contribute to backlog through marketing and business development activities.
• Occasionally serve as Project Manager for seasoned leadership on client engagements.
• Attend client meetings to assess needs and opportunities.
• Develop estimates for scope and keep work within scope.
