Job summary

Divcon Controls in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Lead Field DDC Engineer to design and deliver Delta Controls DDC-based building automation for complex data centers. You will guide engineering execution, review work, and mentor engineers, ensuring reliable, scalable DDC solutions from design through turnover.

The role requires hands-on GCL+ programming, enteliWEB deployments, and strong expertise in BACnet/IP/Modbus. Willingness to travel up to 60% is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in DDC programming, building automation, or controls engineering.
• 2+ years of technical leadership or team lead experience in field operations.
• Expert-level proficiency with Delta Controls GCL+ and software tools.
• Hands-on enteliWEB deployment, configuration, and commissioning experience.
• Proven experience programming/commissioning complex HVAC systems (central plants, chillers, boilers).
• Advanced knowledge of BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus TCP, and network config.
• Willingness to travel 50-60%, including extended site assignments.
• Valid driver’s license; domestic/international travel as needed.
• OSHA 10 certification within the past two years.

Responsibilities

• Lead the DDC engineering scope across projects from design through turnover.
• Define project-level control strategies, architecture, configurations, and integration requirements.
• Coordinate deliverables across project teams, field teams, vendors, and system integrators.
• Provide technical leadership during client meetings, design reviews, and issue resolution.
• Mentor Field DDC Engineers and support onboarding and training.
