Job summary

Thor is seeking a Project Executive to lead major and complex projects across the United States. The role requires overseeing $200M+ engagements, directing strategy across construction, design, engineering and MEP teams, and owning schedule, risk and profitability.

Qualifications

• Proven record leading large, complex projects.
• Experience of P&L accountability across multiple projects.
• At least 5 years managing design-build or hard-bid projects.
• Experience with lump sum, GMP and cost-plus / construction management.
• Strong understanding of contracts, project financials, estimating, scheduling and risk management.
• Experience with mission critical, data center, manufacturing or industrial projects is highly relevant.
• Track record of improving project profitability and developing successful project teams.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of $200M+ projects or multiple complex projects.
• Lead project execution strategy across construction, design, engineering and MEP teams.
• Own project financial performance, P&L, schedule, risk and commercial outcomes.
• Act as the primary customer contact, managing senior relationships and resolving issues before they reach executive escalation.
• Oversee procurement, subcontracting, change management and cost control to protect project profitability.
• Develop and maintain master schedules, identify potential delays and drive corrective action.
• Establish project risk and communication plans across owners, subcontractors, consultants and internal teams.
• Lead, mentor and develop Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, APMs and other project staff.
