Job summary

Thor is seeking an experienced Director of Construction to lead delivery of hyperscale data center campuses across the United States. The role will oversee preconstruction, EPCM/GC oversight, and commissioning handoff from the owner's side at a high-growth energy infrastructure platform.

You will lead multi-site planning, budget, schedule, and procurement, while managing EPCM firms, GCs, and key vendors. Collaboration with development, engineering, and operations is essential as the portfolio

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in construction management or project delivery.
• 5+ years in data center, mission-critical, or advanced infrastructure projects.
• Proven leadership and team-building capabilities in a high-growth environment.
• In-depth understanding of construction delivery models, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Experience supporting commissioning and facility handover.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction delivery of hyperscale data center campuses as owner's representative.
• Oversee preconstruction planning, budgeting, scheduling, and procurement across a multi-site pipeline.
• Manage EPCM firms, GCs, consultants, and key vendor partners.
• Provide leadership and oversight to internal project and construction management teams.
• Collaborate with development, engineering, design, and operations teams to align project goals.
• Implement consistent construction processes, reporting standards, and best practices as the portfolio scales.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, cost control, and schedule commitments across concurrent builds.
• Drive commissioning, integrated systems testing, and successful turnover to operations.
