Job summary

Metric DCX is seeking a Senior Project Executive to lead a multi-billion-dollar data center program in the US. This role reports to the senior leadership and requires ownership of campus-level delivery, with 100% travel and oversight from preconstruction through closeout.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in commercial construction, proven leadership of large programs, and strong client-facing and financial acumen to drive schedule, budget, and profitability.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience leading large-scale, complex projects or multi-building programs.
• Experience on projects in the $500M+ range, ideally hyperscale data centers or similar environments.

Compensation: up to $300,000 Base DOE + Performance / Profit-Sharing Bonus

The Opportunity

We are representing one of the largest general contractors in the US on a multi-billion-dollar hyperscale data center program

This is a Senior Project Executiveopportunity for an experienced construction leader who has the ability to take ownership of a major campus, lead multiple project teams, and operate at an executive level with a highly demanding client.

The overall program is expected to span multiple phases and buildings, with individual sections led by Project Executives reporting into the senior leader responsible for the broader program.

This is a genuine 1A leadership hire not a typical Project Executive position.

What You'll Lead

• Overall leadership of a major multi-billion-dollar data center program
• Multiple project teams, Project Executives and senior construction professionals
• Delivery from preconstruction through construction, commissioning and closeout
• Client relationships at the executive level
• Overall project strategy, schedule, budget and commercial performance
• Risk management, procurement, contracts and major trade partner relationships
• Coordination across multiple buildings, phases and workstreams
• Development and leadership of a high-performing project organization
• Maintaining accountability for safety, quality, schedule and profitability

What We're Looking For

• 15+ years of commercial construction experience
• Experience leading large-scale, complex projects or multi-building programs
• A track record across the full project lifecycle, from preconstruction through turnover
• Experience managing senior project teams and multiple workstreams
• Strong client-facing and executive communication skills
• Proven commercial, contractual and financial leadership
• Experience on projects in the $500M+ range, ideally within hyperscale data centers or similarly complex environments
• The presence and leadership ability to operate as the senior figure across a major campus
