Job summary

Amicus Talent Solutions is partnering with a major industrial real estate owner to recruit a Senior Project Manager for Data Center construction in Chicago. The role will lead large-scale hyperscale data center projects and prepare to step into a Project Executive position.

The ideal candidate will have proven data center construction experience, recent GC experience, and the ability to manage multiple project teams and subcontractors while coordinating Procore and BIM/3D workflows on-site

Qualifications

• Proven Data Center construction experience (essential).
• Recent experience working for a General Contractor.
• Experience managing multiple project teams and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of Procore and BIM/3D coordination.
• Exposure to substations or major power infrastructure is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills.
• Availability to work on-site Monday-Friday.

Project Executive - Data Center Construction

Location: South Chicago (Relocation or Travel Support Available)

Schedule: Full-time, on-site Monday-Friday (required)

Compensation: Executive Base Salary + 20% Bonus + Industry-Leading Per Diem

We are partnering with a major Industrial Real Estate owner in North America that is expanding its General Contracting division to deliver a growing portfolio of hyperscale data center projects.

They are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager from the General Contractor (GC) side who is ready to step into a Project Executive role, leading multiple large-scale Data Center projects as the business continues to grow.

Please note: Previous Data Center construction experience is essential. Candidates must also be willing to work on-site Monday-Friday.

The Projects

This programme includes both industrial-to-data center conversions and ground-up hyperscale developments, typically involving facilities of 350,000+ sq. ft. with capacities of up to 150MW.

Projects include:

• Industrial-to-Data Center conversions
  
• Major structural modifications and roof raises
  
• Large-scale civil, site work, and flatwork packages
  
• Private high-voltage substation construction
  
• Complex MEP installation, integration, and commissioning
  

Several projects are already underway, with many more scheduled as the portfolio continues to expand.
