Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a seasoned Project Engineer/Program Manager to lead end-to-end ground and vehicle umbilical systems for the New Glenn program. You will define requirements, plans, and risk registers while coordinating across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, test, and launch operations to deliver on time and within budget, prioritizing safety.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Science, Business or related field.
• 5+ years of technical project engineering or program management experience.
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional technical projects.
• Proficiency with scheduling and planning tools (MS Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, Jira).
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and risk management.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Adaptable to fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Ability to manage vast number of stakeholders across the organization.
• Ability to earn trust and contribute to an inclusive culture.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project execution from requirements through delivery.
• Develop and maintain integrated schedules, budgets, risk registers, and resource plans.
• Coordinate across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, test, and launch operations.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, schedule, and programmatic risks.
• Facilitate design reviews and program status meetings.
• Manage supplier and vendor deliverables with Supply Chain.
• Communicate status, risks, and decisions to leadership and stakeholders.
• Promote safety, continuous improvement, and disciplined execution.
