Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and four years of progressively responsible experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration may be required.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and complex transportation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of STIP and non-STIP projects during the scoping phase to meet schedule and budget.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality expectations, including initial scope, conceptual designs and cost estimates.
• Maintain project schedules and milestones.
• Track project changes and manage scope.
• Identify risks and opportunities with mitigation strategies.
• Communicate with team members to expedite tasks and ensure deliverables comply with laws and policies.
• Analyze environmental data and highway design information.
• Provide status updates to the Program Manager, division, and stakeholders.
• Perform project planning, design, environmental analysis, and development tasks.
• Oversee private engineering firms (PEF), contract administration, and provide consultant feedback.
