Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 4 years of related experience.
• PE registration may be required by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors.
• Experience with private engineering firms for review and approval of design plans.
• Ability to plan, develop, schedule, track and complete projects with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate project development efforts from conception to completion.
• Communicate with public officials, consultants, environmental agencies and staff.
• Provide engineering and design guidance to private firms and division staff.
• Track project status and funding sources for reporting to division leadership.
