Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and four years of progressively responsible experience, with PE licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience; equivalent combination allowed.
• PE license may be required per job posting.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks.
• Experience with ND DOT/State processes for project planning, prioritization, programming, and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of STIP and non-STIP projects during the project scoping phase to ensure express designs and scoping reports are delivered on schedule, within scope, and budget.
• Develop initial scope of improvements, conceptual designs with cost estimates, and environmental impact analyses.
• Maintain project schedules and milestones; track changes; identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Communicate with team members, document decisions, and ensure deliverables comply with all laws and regulations.
• Analyze environmental data and highway design information.
• Provide status updates to the Program Manager, stakeholders, and the Division.
• Oversight of private engineering firms (PEF) and administer PEF contracts.
