Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead and coordinate project planning, resourcing, staffing, and troubleshooting across multiple programs within the Solid Rocket Motor Engineering Team.

The role directs an Integrated Project Team (IPT) to design, develop, manufacture, and deliver products, interfacing with program management, senior leadership, and customers to meet technical quality, schedule, and cost requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience.
• Engineering degree required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering design evaluations within budget and schedule.
• Reviews policies to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Reviews production/malfunction reports to address issues.
• Provides technical support for the engineering process.
• Develops and communicates project plans; monitors progress and performance.
