General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the Solid Rocket Motor (SRM) engineering efforts, coordinate IPT activities, and drive schedule, budget, and technical quality across multiple programs.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with program management and customers, with an on-site focus and a remote option. Travel up to 25% may be required; position includes competitive benefits and total rewards.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Engineering and 5-7 years' experience required.
• Engineering degree required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design evaluations and ensure projects meet budget and schedule.
• Coordinate an IPT to design, develop, and deliver SRM products.
• Provide technical support and ensure data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and resource plans.
• Monitor progress and take corrective actions to minimize delays.
• Interface with program management and customers to ensure requirements are met.
